Alumni (graduates of the University of Central Missouri) and public patrons may apply for check out privileges at the James C. Kirkpatrick Library. In order to apply for these privileges patrons will need to do the following:
- Be at least 16 years old
- Present a valid photo ID such as a Driver’s License or military ID. A Missouri driver’s license is preferred but not required.
- Utility bill or other official mail or document dated within the past 30 days with the patron’s name and current local address.
- Complete a patron file card with the patron’s name, address, social security number, date of issue, telephone number, email address, and signature. Once library staff has obtained a valid UCM ID number for the patron, the social security number will be removed from the patron’s record.
