A. LAC Issues
- Welcome and Introductions. Ms. Dinwiddie welcomed returning members and new members to LAC. Members introduced themselves to the group.
- Minutes from April 11, 2005 approved as distributed.
- Election of Officers – Dr. Tenbus assumed chair position. By unanimous agreement from all members present Mr. Walker was elected to serve as Vice-Chair. Mr. Eatherton was elected as Secretary.
- Student Satisfaction Survey – completed survey information was distributed electronically to LAC members prior to meeting for review. Reviewed survey, since there as a small number who completed/answered survey was suggested that next time should have focus groups and have surveys given in class as a "class project" for a few minutes, we might have better representation, especially if we were to pick the classes to use - i.e. upper class, lower class, different colleges. Dr. Tenbus will put together an analysis/summary of survey and asked members to forward their points to him.
- Meeting schedule, all meetings begin at 1:00 p.m. in JCKL Library Services Conference room 223

B. Dean’s Announcements
- Distributed copies LAC roster. There where some corrections made to roster, once updated will distribute electronically to members.
- Distributed copies “Success @ your library” fliers. Copies of fliers are being distributed via campus mail to all faculty on campus asking that they post these in their classrooms and/or bulletin boards in their area. Posters where distributed to University Housing to be posted in each of the resident halls, also to Central Summit Center.
- Reviewed the library’s web home page and LAC’s web page. There is a new look to library’s home page.
