LAC Issues

Minutes from December 9, 2005 approved as distributed.

Student Satisfaction Survey summary – Dr. Tenbus provide a summary of the survey that was conducted in Spring 2005. Discussion and review of survey, summary approved as distributed.

Library Materials Budget Resolution – document was distributed at meeting, reviewed and discussed. Resolution approved as distributed. Resolution will be forwarded to President, Provost, SPRC and Faculty Senate President.

Meeting schedule – all meetings scheduled begin at 1:00 p.m. in JCKL 2233 on February 10, 2006; March 17, 2006 and April 14, 2006 (if needed).

Ms. Norwood stated that she was very pleased and appreciated receiving a hardcopy of Library Services InfoOne newsletter.

Dean’s Announcements

Children’s Literature Festival – distributed brochure regarding festival. Festival will be held March 5-7, 2006. Information regarding the festival can be found at http://library.ucmo.edu/childlit/clf

Update on wireless – it is throughout building. There are a few things that are not complete one of which is regarding security. Information Services is working on wireless within JCKL

E-mail will be sent to the faculty list serve, asking for feedback on what type of workshops they would like to see offered by Library Services.

Group Study rooms – in the very near future group study rooms will be opened, will not have to reserve and no late fee will be charged. Rooms can be reserved in advance.
