Are you staying in town for spring break? If so, the James C. Kirkpatrick Library encourages you to serve as a volunteer host to visiting children’s literature authors and illustrators during the 46th Annual Children’s Literature Festival. Thousands of Missouri schoolchildren attend this wonderful campus event each year to hear nearly 40 nationally recognized children’s authors and illustrators discuss their craft.
We provide all volunteers with a morning snack, lunch, and afternoon snack.
The festival takes place on Monday, March 17 and Tuesday, March 18, 2014. We welcome volunteers that can assist on either day or both days.
To volunteer, please visit the online form at http://guides.library.ucmo.

We need over 200 volunteers to make the festival a success, so all are welcome. Please invite a friend to join in the fun!
