That’s right - Einstein Bros. Bagels
is coming soon to JCKL!

Einstein Bros. BagesBy the start of the fall semester, you will be able to fuel up on a cup ‘o hot joe and a tasty bagel, without ever leaving the library.  Einstein Bros. Bagels also serves up healthy breakfast and lunch bagel sandwiches and other tasty fare.

The new cafe will be located in the North Read & Relax area on the first floor of the library, just outside the Harmon Computer Commons.

And remember - you don’t just have to munch on your bagel in the cafe, because food is way okay in the library.

More details will be posted as the become available.

UCM Student Poetry Reading at JCKL - April 29th, 1pm-2pm

Join us at the library for an annual student reading. This event is sponsored by the Creative Writing Club and the Pleiades Writer’s Series, and is hosted this year by the library. The winners of the David Baker Prizes in Poetry & Fiction Writing will be reading, along with several other student writers. Refreshments will be served, and all are welcome.

“Ishmael” - Brown Bag Book Talk at JCKL

On April 15th at 12pm, a brown bag lunch and book talk will be held in the JCKL Performance Area at noon. This will be a moderated discussion of Ishmael, and is sponsored by the American Democracy Project (ADP).

Dessert and beverages will be provided. Feel free to bring your own lunch. All are welcome!

Who Dunnit???

There is a murderer loose in the Library. Who is the victim? Who is the killer? come find out when JCK Library presents “Murder in the Library” March 26th at 9:30pm as part of our 10th Anniversary Celebration.

Who Dunnit

This event is limited to students and we can only let the first 200 in. Come early! The library will close at 9:00pm for the event but the Computer Commons will remain open until midnight as usual.
