It’s true – humor reduces stress! Take a well-deserved study break and join us at the library on Thursday, February 19, 2009, 1pm for a half hour of standup comedy from talented (and funny!) UCM student Sheri McCartney. Join us Tuesday, December 9, 2pm-3pm, for hot cocoa, candy canes, and an hour of holiday piano music by Sarah Stoltzfus and Elaina Toben. Join us Tuesday, November 18, 2pm-3pm, for an hour of classical music performed by UCM guitar students Eric Brooks, Ben Wemhoener, Nate Archer, Timothy Reynolds, and Adam Davies. This casual event is part of an ongoing series of student performances held in the library’s Performance Corner (south side of circulation desk). You are cordially invited to the grand opening of JCKL’s Second Life library on Tuesday, October 28th, 1pm-3pm! This event will feature talks & tours of the new virtual library, followed by a live student piano performance that will be simulcast in Second Life!
