Good morning,

Flu vaccine administration will begin tomorrow, October 7th, in the Union, room 236 from 8:30 – 12:00. All faculty, staff, students and their spouses 18 years of age and older are eligible to receive the vaccine. The cost of the vaccine is $15.00.

The university will pay for the flu shot for all active employees, non-Medicare eligible retirees and their family members over the age of 18 who participate in the university health plan. Retirees who are Medicare eligible and employees who opted out of the health plan may receive the vaccine but must pay the $15 charge at the time of service. Medicare-eligible retirees may prefer to receive the vaccine from a Medicare provider in order to maximize their Medicare benefits.

Additional dates and times for vaccine administration will be announced at a later date.
