Mayor Chris accepts his chocolate key to the library as he begins his second term. He reports that the first key was delicious. By checking in via foursquare you too can be declared the JCKL monthly mayor and receive a chocolate key, an Einstein’s coffee mug, a private office for three hours and a certificate suitable for framing.

A Special Preview of Louder Than Words February 26 at 3:00pm JCKL Read & Relax Area
The James C. Kirkpatrick Library is seeking volunteers to assist visiting authors and illustrators at the 45th Annual Children’s Literature Festival. Thousands of children attend the festival during the first Monday and Tuesday of spring break to hear over 40 nationally recognized children’s authors and illustrators discuss their craft. Volunteers are needed on Monday, March 18 and Tuesday, March 19. You may volunteer for one day or both.
