Accessibility Services Grant

To assist clients with visual impairments, the Green Foundation of Mexico, Missouri awarded the James C. Kirkpatrick Library a $6,000 grant to purchase a color Aladdin Genie Pro CCTV, a microcomputer, and ZoomText Level 2+ software.

The Library already has the following technology available in its Special Services Room: a Kurzweil 1000, an IBM PC dedicated to Open Book and ZoomText, an IBM PC dedicated to Window Bridge, a Voyager XL CCTV by V-Tek, and a Braille dictionary.
