  • WHAT DOES CTL STAND FOR?

    • CTL is Center for Teaching and Learning.
  • WHERE IS CTL LOCATED?

    • We are in the JCK Library. Our main office is JCKL 1340, and you can contact us through Patti Morrison at 543-8528.
  • WHAT SERVICES DOES CTL PROVIDE?

    •  We do print and digital production, including Virtual and Augmented Reality, we have a full audio and video production studio with green screen and a light board, we assist with online course and course materials design, review and evaluate courses, offer training in such areas as Instructional Design, use of the LMS (Blackboard), Best Practices, Web 2.0 tools, Google, and Adobe products, etc.
  • CAN STUDENTS USE CTL? 

    • No - CTL is established only for faculty. We primarily print posters and other materials for academic/classroom use. The only exception is research posters that are being presented. A student project can be printed by CTL if it is co-authored by a faculty member. If you need assistance with other printing jobs, please contact the Center for Print Production at 543-4484.
  • CAN RETIRED/EMERITI FACULTY USE CTL SERVICES?

    • Board of Governor's policy on Emeriti Faculty (2.1.070.II.D3): 
       
      "D. In addition to receiving the benefits granted to all retired employees of the university, emeriti will receive:
3. Campus space, equipment, and/or other resources, excluding university motor vehicles, for continued university research or other projects, dependent upon the availability of resources and upon approval of a department chair or vice president. Emeriti may be held responsible for personal injuries that occur in the course of their research or other projects that fall outside of the projection of sovereign immunity as defined in current Missouri statutes."
