Meet Our New Faculty
Library Services is pleased to welcome three new faculty members into our fold.

Rob Hallis - Assistant Professor and Instructional Services Librarian
Rob takes a new position as head of the library's Harmon Computer Commons. His position was created to develop a closer link between the computer lab and the rest of the library. Rob is planning and implementing new services that will make technology transparent to the end user. He is also making strides in student employee training. Rob has a B.A. in Humanities, a B.M. in Music Theory, a M.B.E. in music education, a M.M. in Musicology, and a MLS from the University of Texas at Austin, where he is presently finishing a doctorate in musicology.

Linda Lillard - Assistant Professor and Instructional Services Librarian
Linda has the task of coordinating library services for Central Missouri's Extended Campus students. She hopes to offer distance learning students information services equivalent to those that are available on campus. Linda has a BA in Business Education from The Pennsylvania State University, an MA in Curriculum & Instruction from San Diego State University, an MLS from Emporia State University. Linda is presently working on a doctorate in Library and Information Management at Emporia State University.

Naomi Williamson - Assistant Professor and Special Collections Librarian
Naomi is our new Special Collections Librarian and director of the annual Children's Literature Festival. Library Services hasn't had a full-time Special Collections Librarian since Lucile Lea retired in 1981. Naomi is presently working on a collection development policy for Special Collections and is resolving organization and access issues created by the move to the Kirkpatrick Library. As the director of the Children's Literature Festival (now in its 31st year), she is responsible for one of the largest events of its kind in the United States.
